The online Academy
The Royal Rapé Academy brings together the knowledge and experience that Heartcore by Nature has built up over the years in one extensive online learning environment. You get immediate access and work through the different sections fully independently and at your own pace.
Origin and traditions
You deepen your understanding of the origin of rapé and the various traditions of the Amazon. We share knowledge about the cultural background, traditional use and the plants used within different compositions.
A special part of the Academy is the recorded knowledge transfer from the Huni Kuin tradition. This gives you access not only to our accumulated knowledge, but also to teachings and insights shared directly from the Amazon.
Plants, blends and elements
You get to know different plants, compositions and blends and deepen your understanding of their background. We also cover the four elements Air, Water, Earth and Fire within the Royal Rapé line and the thinking behind the different compositions. In doing so we distinguish between traditional knowledge and customs on the one hand and contemporary insights and applications on the other.
Safety and responsible use
An important part of the Academy is devoted to safety and responsibility. Among other things we cover contraindications, preparation, hygiene, dosage and various points of attention around the use of rapé.
The nervous system, physical reactions and recognising situations in which use is not appropriate are also covered in depth.
Application and guidance
The Academy contains extensive knowledge about the different ways in which rapé is applied, both traditionally and today. Among other things we cover different administration techniques, preparation, setting, observation and points of attention around guiding others.
These sections are intended as knowledge transfer. The Academy does not contain physical practical training or assessment of practical skills.
Integration, ethics and responsibility
Besides application, we pay attention to what may be important around and after the use of rapé. Topics such as integration, aftercare, boundaries, ethics, responsibility and professional conduct come together here.
The starting point is that knowledge about rapé cannot be separated from the responsibility that comes with working with a medicine that originates from living indigenous traditions.
Learning at your own pace
After registration you get access to the full online Academy and you decide when and at what pace you work through the modules. You can rewatch lessons and use the Academy as a knowledge environment to consult topics again later.
After successfully completing all sections you receive a digital Certificate of Completion from Heartcore by Nature. The certificate confirms that you have completed the full online Royal Rapé Academy. It grants no practical authorisation and does not count as a medical qualification or recognition as a healthcare professional.

About the Royal Rapé Academy
The Royal Rapé Academy arose from years of practical experience, collaboration with indigenous families and the knowledge that Heartcore by Nature has built up over the years and shared during ceremonies, trainings and personal development trajectories.
The foundation of the Academy lies in respect for the origin of rapé, combined with knowledge about safety, contraindications, traditional applications, the nervous system, integration and responsible use within the Western context.
This knowledge has now been brought together in one extensive online learning environment, so you can independently and at your own pace deepen your understanding of rapé, the underlying traditions and the responsibilities that come with its use.
Heartcore by Nature
Since 2018, Heartcore by Nature has collaborated with the Huni Kuin, Katukina and other indigenous families from the Amazon. From this long-standing connection we have immersed ourselves in their culture, traditions, plant knowledge and different ways of working with rapé.
This traditional knowledge, combined with years of practical experience, forms the foundation of the Royal Rapé Academy. With the Academy we want to keep this accumulated knowledge accessible and pass it on in a respectful and careful way to people who seriously want to deepen their understanding of rapé and the traditions from which it originates.
